Thanks Nanny and Papaw
We got off to great start thanks to a visit from my parents. My parents came down to see our home school play (Wizard of Oz) in which Graeme was the Lion (and a great one at that). They said they would stay a couple of days to help us get use to the idea of idea of leaving our kids while we fly to Europe. I woke up at 2am and before I could convience myself to go back to sleep I was up doing last minute things. After about an hour of being up and trying to decide if I should go back to bed I realized that it was 8am in Germany so I decided to beging my acclimation to the time difference an just stayed up. As I write this we are in Phillidelpjia waiting for our flight. The trip was uneventful except for the security guard asking me what the bag of green stuff was in my bag and explaining to me how it looked to them. After a funny conversation about barley green and my unmarked can of shaving cream (which I ended up throwing away), we were on the plane and begining or 25th anniversary trip.
